This tool measures how many frames per second your browser composites using
requestAnimationFrame timing — which on virtually all systems is locked to your
monitor's refresh rate (60 Hz, 120 Hz, 144 Hz, 240 Hz and beyond). It also tracks frame
time consistency: a 144 Hz panel that keeps stuttering feels worse than a stable 60 Hz one.
Seeing a lower number than your monitor's advertised Hz? Check that your refresh rate is actually set in Windows (Settings → Display → Advanced), that you're using DisplayPort or a high-bandwidth HDMI cable, and that battery-saver mode isn't capping it.
